About Formative Years

Aggi grew up in communist Poland, witnessing the switch to democracy before immigrating to Canada with her family in 1994.

As someone who started a new life in Canada during her teen years, Aggi knows what it’s like to face obstacles that seem to have no way out. Her parents divorced after the hardships of immigration, and the barely established new life took on yet another dynamic to be grappled with.

Aggi herself went through a number of very challenging experiences, personal and health struggles, which spurred her growth in all aspects of her life – all while parenting her daughter, working two jobs, developing her professional practice, and dealing with life’s issues.

The challenging experiences in her life and health have served to provide Aggi with an abundance of empathy for others who are struggling, as well as a passion to share her understanding of what it takes to fulfill goals, reclaim health and life, and pursue dreams despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

Now happy in her career Aggi has successfully translated the adversity in her life into the ability to relate to anyone.

By sharing her story, Agata hopes that others may not only glimpse aspects of their own lives and experiences, but also discover ways in which they, too, can overcome barriers to health, happiness, and personal fulfillment.

About Persistence & Path to Success

Aggi firmly believes that with hard work, persistence, and consistency, goals can be reached and dreams can be transformed into reality, health struggles into optimal health.

Aggi’s own path to success included taking eight years in total to complete a four-year Kinesiology degree: after studying full time for two years, she was removed from her program due to insufficient funds and a loophole that made her ineligible for adequate student loans, forcing her to spend a further six years as a self-funded, part-time student in order to complete the remaining two years of her degree.

This is just one example of Agata’s refusal to give up in the face of adversity.

Intimately familiar with the physiological and mental strain of high levels of chronic stress, Aggi made a point of learning and refining coping mechanisms through therapy, self-inquiry, mindfulness, meditation, and emotional self-regulation.

Her relentless drive to succeed compels her to provide the highest value in her professional practice, delivering the best service and best results possible for those who have entrusted her with their care.

To that end, Aggi has carefully developed programs and strategies to teach her clients the mindfulness, fitness and nutritional approaches to self care, health, and attainment of confidence and the highest personal goals.

About Education

What sets Aggi’s approach to emotional wellness apart is that it is informed by the principles of osteopathy. Agata began her four-year degree program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton in 2010. At the time, she was in the thick of going through her divorce, being a parent, commuting to work in Toronto, and initiating her practice in Burlington – all while juggling full-time studies. Yet it was during this time of radical personal and academic growth that Agata began to realize that just as all the answers to stress ultimately lie within us, so too is the power to heal our bodies intrinsically present. Osteopathy aligns with Agata’s belief that every problem has its root cause, with the body being no different. While the origin of health problems is sometimes easy to determine, at other times the human body “masks” these origins with deeply rooted compensatory patterns that need to be unearthed through analysis of poor mechanics, misalignment, and asymmetry. In Agata’s own life and in the lives of the clients with whom she is privileged to work, osteopathy mobilizes and supports our innate capacity for healing.

About Authenticity & passion

Aggi’s zeal for osteopathy, metabolic health & hormones are reflective of and solidly supported by her educational background.

Her greatest desire is to share her passions by delivering a message of health for all, and to grow Agata™ Health as a community that provides both the tools and the training ground for individuals to prioritize their emotional and physical health, reclaim their lives and feel fantastic inside and out!

Positive by nature and always seeking the best for others, Aggi realizes that beneath the many stresses of life, we all want to be heard, understood…. and HEALTHY.
