What diet should I go on?
The Diet Dilemma: Understanding the various types of diets and their applications with a focus on weight loss & pain management.
There are literally endless numbers of diets out there. One way or another most diets aim at weight loss, however, there are others whose goal is to help the user gain muscle, lose body fat, reverse diabetes, lower blood pressure, beat cancer, decrease pain, beat fatigue, improve mental health, balance hormones to name a few…. Then there are countless approaches to reach those goals… from vegan to carnivore diets, the list is long.
This interactive workshop will focus on diets whose goal is aimed at weight reduction and pain management adding the tools to your osteopathic toolbox.
FUN TASK: Aggi will ask all participants of the workshop to do a little informal survey at their clinics asking patients how many diets they have tried on average, what they were, and patients’ success with them. Presumption: most (if not all) people have tried dieting at one point in their lives.
